We finally finished our music video !
After a number of weeks having the time to edit our music video, we have finally completed it up to a reasonable standard of profession.
I am very happy with the outcome due to the problems we occurred in producing a task overall. We encounter many problems in our group, yet we managed to solve them all and work with what we had. Therefore I am pleased we have a finish music video.

More software issues
In a spare break we had during the college hours we came to the media department to do some editing but unfortunately adobe premier pro decides to freeze every time we try to open any kind of footage, this is really frustrating us as a group now as this continues to happen every time and were running out of time to edit. We feel as though no software has 'played' the game right. I have had no contact from Tim for over a week now and I and us as a group are getting increasingly annoyed with our project. Rachel and I feel as though after a mishap from Tim he hasn’t shown the drive to repair our project and we are now aimless and not motivated.
Problems with editing software
We have had some footage for a while now but every time we go to put it onto the computer by capturing it on Adobe Premier Pro each of us had the message 'the disk drive is full' so we had to call in the computer technician who told us we had to save it on the C/ Drive and then transfer the data to the Fs6 which is making the process seem on-going and slow which raises further concern for the deadline coming up.
More research
Scooter - I'm Lonely
I found this video very interesting and inspirational because it has a similar storyline to yours, a relationship that hasn’t worked out, however it’s always cutting from the music and the story, linking the both narratives together to produce one outcome.
It also includes flashing lights and editing that’s based around the beat and rhythm of the song, when the beat drops it, flashing lights, rave shots and fast shots are all you see. However when the drop slows down the shots are slow pans, following the storyline, enticing the viewer into the emotion of the lyrics.
We hope to included this in our editing at it sells a video and makes you feel part of it.

Editing
We are currently editing our music video on the programme premier pro using as many effects as we can to inprove and make our final outcome up to a high standard. we have used effects such as Flashes, fade in & fade out, fast forward, overlapping, boarder effects, slow motion, grunge boarder.
All these effects have inporoved our music video in helping us make it look like a real hardcore video. the flashes are epsecially effect and we used this effect a number of times thoughout the video.
The programme became more familiar as we begun to use it regularly and then from last year.

Time planning and editing
Now we have the 2 main parts of our tasks, the music video footage and the photos from the photo shoot all we have to do now is edit our footage using special features like flash lights, fast shots, fast pace matching the rhythm of the music, Also having to complete our ancillary tasks.
So we planned for over the next few weeks to take it in turns on what part of the coursework we would work on, we have three lessons a week two 2hour lessons and one 1hour so we would take advantage of the group being together and work on our music video for the two 2hour lessons and work on our individual tasks in our own time and the one 1hour lesson.

Photoshoot
As part of my individual input to the group I took the lead role on of taking a photo shoot of a female model for our ancillary tasks to produce our Cd cover tour poster.
I knew I had to capture a number of different poses, costumes and locations for us each to have a slight different ancillary task each.
I borrowed a cannon SLR 400D over the following weekend and captured these as we need them as soon as possible to get cracking.
I had a very successful shoot and had some excellent photographs.
