More planning and researching

Due to not being able to film for another week because of group arranging problems Tim Rach and I suggested that we started making progress on other tasks so that we could have more time to film and edit instead of waiting for out filming to be complete. This was an opportunity to improve our time issues. This then stopped up from rushing our work towards the end of the deadline.

I have chosen to produce a listings magazine front cover featuring the new soap and a poster for the new soap.
To produce a professional advertisement I will research into many different soap advertisements and note down key characteristics that they all have and similarities that link them into being a drama.
From taking other courses such as Graphic Design and photography I have an advantage to producing a more professional outcome. These skills I will share with my members of my group.

Here are some Radio Times covers and other TV listings covers that advertise drama series.

We as a group looked at radio times and chose these front covers in particular as they are popular programs that attract different audiences from people into sport, Families, Adults, Teenagers and young adults. There is also a different numbers of main characters on the covers, some have one others three and even four.
There is commonly either one character or three.

In all of the Radio Times covers the main characters cover some part of the title 'Radio Times' Which shows that they are more important then the title of the magazine otherwise the title would be on top.

Having this technique shows how important and serious the drama is that week and it’s a key selling point to market the magazine when its competing with other dramas.
